Nature of the Site
The site points readers toward Putnam County jail and court resources, Tennessee correctional services, federal locators, and third-party research tools. It does not own or store official jail, release, offender, or court records. Information presented here is for general reference only.

No Consumer Reports
Putnam County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not supply background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. Users agree not to apply any site information to employment decisions, tenant or housing screening, creditworthiness, insurance pricing, licensing, benefits eligibility, or any other FCRA-covered purpose.
Links to Other Services
Links may lead to sheriff and corrections pages, release records, government portals, legal resources, or outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. This site is not responsible for a destination's content, privacy practices, prices, results, availability, or security. Review the destination's own terms before using it.
Service Without Warranties
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information is complete, current, or correct; that access will be uninterrupted; that software will be free of errors or security flaws; or that a partner search will return every relevant record. Custody and public records can change at any time. Nothing here is an official statement by Putnam County, TDOC, or another agency.
Limits on Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, and its contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from access to, reliance on, or inability to use the site or an outside service.
User Indemnity
A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's use of the site, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
Ownership of Materials
Unless another owner is identified, the text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Putnam County Released Inmates or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, republished, or modified without written permission, apart from uses allowed by law.
Changes and Access
These terms may be revised at any time, and a new version takes effect when posted. Access may also be limited, suspended, or revoked at any time, with or without notice, when the operator determines that action is appropriate.
Tennessee Law Applies
These terms are governed by Tennessee law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Tennessee. References to public-record access are subject to the Tennessee Public Records Act, including T.C.A. §§ 10-7-503 and 10-7-504, and do not expand a right granted by that law.
Severability
If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be adjusted only as much as necessary to make it enforceable where the law permits.
Questions About Terms
Questions about these terms may be routed through the Contacts page. That page does not create a government-record request or reach the Putnam County Sheriff.
